Chapter 8 - Printing
This chapter shows you how to provide some of the features of QuickDraw GX printing in your application. It shows you how to use job objects and printing dialog boxes as well as taking you through how to print a document with custom page formats and how to save the document's printing information. Specifically, this chapter contains four recipes:
- "Managing Printing Information" shows how you create job objects for your documents and how you keep them updated.
- "Handling Printing Dialog Boxes" shows how you can display the three types of printing dialog boxes and respond to the user's requests.
- "Printing a Document With Custom Formats" shows how to print a selected page range of your document using individual page formats for each page.
- "Saving Printing Information" shows how you can save the printing-related information when you save your document and how you can restore that information when the user reopens the document.
